Alison Stirling is Projects Director at Artlink, Edinburgh. Graduated from the MFA course at Royal College of Art. Over her 22 years with Artlink she has explored different forms of collaboration from devising the Fusion programme resulting in My Father Is The Wise Man of the Village - Fruitmarket Gallery (2002); student collaborations at the RCA with Peabody Housing, London, (2003/2005); co-curating 200 years/200 Objects - Mark Dion, Claire Barclay, Laura Spring, Laura Aldridge - Talbot Rice Gallery (2014); commissioning writers, editing and publishing essays and fictions to highlight real life issues – eg comic Scott versus Zombies – Artist Robin Smith, Writer Alan Grant, Scott Davidson – exploring issues around autism (2014) to ongoing development of The Ideas Team.
